Personal Assistant
Job description
About the Role
We’re looking for a committed and adaptable professional to serve as a key right-hand support—someone who brings thoughtfulness in communication, dependability, organization, and initiative. This role involves supporting administrative operations, engaging with clients in a professional yet personable manner, and articulating ideas with clarity and depth. Beyond daily tasks, you’ll help foster the culture of a business built on meaningful transformation—not just of spaces, but of people and communities.
This is a part-time position to start (15–25 hours/week), with potential to evolve into a full-time, leadership, or partner-level role. You will work closely with leadership, often representing the business and its values in communication and coordination. At times, you will help maintain momentum and ensure key initiatives progress smoothly when leadership is focused on broader priorities.
We believe in working with deep alignment—anticipating needs, taking initiative, and approaching challenges with shared purpose. This role is about collaborating toward a vision, not personal agendas. Loyalty, discernment, and humility are values we hold closely, alongside a strong respect for boundaries. Because the work is meaningful, we are highly selective in finding the right fit. Those who thrive in aligned collaboration and take pride in bringing a vision to life will find this journey deeply fulfilling.
Key Responsibilities
– Coordinating schedules, priorities, and ongoing initiatives to ensure seamless operations
– Managing communication across email, calls, WhatsApp, and follow-ups
– Preparing and sharing job ads, flyers, proposals, and presentations
– Engaging with part-time cleaners, clients, vendors, and leads to maintain smooth workflows
– Researching opportunities in marketing, community outreach, and grants
– Handling light errands or vendor orders as needed
– Capturing compelling social content (photos, videos—training provided)
– Updating website and online content with guidance
– Providing essential support to maintain focus, alignment, and momentum
– Assisting leadership in overseeing strategic planning, external engagement, and high-level coordination
What We Look For (Essential Qualities)
– Approachable yet assertive—balancing warmth with confidence
– Exceptionally organized and reliable—responsive even at short notice
– Emotionally intelligent and discerning—able to “read a room” and act accordingly
– Discreet and trustworthy—upholding a high standard for confidentiality and conduct
– Presentable and professional—representing the business with care and confidence
– Tech-comfortable—familiar with essential digital tools (Google Drive, Canva, Zoom, WhatsApp, etc.)
– Curious and intentional—quick to learn and eager to think beyond the obvious
– Comfortable managing both business and occasional personal logistics when needed
Bonus Qualities (Optional, but Valued)
– Experience in volunteering with nonprofits or community projects
– Background in wellness, logistics, startups, or service-based businesses
– A refined appreciation for clean and artistic aesthetics (ads, music, visuals with depth)
– A natural affinity for cross-cultural environments and diverse perspectives
– Values that align with excellence, ethics, and quiet ambition
What You Gain
– A front-row seat in building a purpose-driven company
– Mentorship and influence over creative direction
– Flexible hours and room to grow within the business
– Bonus pay for special projects or milestones
– A path to a full-time, salaried position by late 2025
– Potential opportunities for engagement in new markets and locations as the business expands
More than just a resume, we’re interested in real-life experiences—moments of growth, resilience, and lessons that shaped who you are. If this resonates with you, we’d love to hear your story.
